Fall Career Week Oct 3-7: Get Involved!

What?
Fall Career Week 2011 is Oct. 3–7. There will be career events for all students, including fun, informative sessions about majors, career paths, job searching, and much more. Help IUPUI students connect with professionals and learn about careers in a low-pressure environment!

Who?
Students from all IUPUI schools and programs will be invited. Some sessions are targeted to specific degree or occupational areas, while other workshops are general (job searching, networking, etc.). What do your students need or want to know about careers in the field? Contact us to set up an event!

We need your help!
Your support is critical to the success of these sessions! We're looking for employers, faculty, school staff, alumni, even juniors and seniors with tips to share about degree programs.

Staff and faculty:

  • What can you do with this degree, anyway? How did you get where you are now?
  • What skills are critical in the field? Share your insight and get involved!
  • Do you work with or know of employers who could share their expertise with students? We'll encourage your employer to join us for a panel session.
  • Have you had a stellar student that could add to the discussion? Students tell us they like to hear from other students who have been through the program. Help us make these connections!
  • Then, encourage your students to attend these and other Fall Career Week sessions!

When/Where?
Monday, October 3, to Friday, October 7, at the IUPUI Campus Center. Times and locations are posted on daily schedules at fallcareerweek.iupui.edu. Contact us to get involved!
